1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BOOP ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

BOOP is a digital pet passport service that allows you to store, manage, and share your pet's information including photos, vaccination status, behaviour notes, and care instructions. BOOP is not a medical record system and should not be used as a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

3. Account Registration

To use BOOP, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions & Billing

BOOP offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
• Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Currency & Pricing:

• Prices are displayed and charged in your selected currency (USD or AUD)
• Your currency is initially set based on your location but can be changed before subscribing
• Once subscribed, your billing currency remains fixed for the duration of your subscription
• Prices may vary between currencies and are not direct conversions

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to BOOP, including photos and documents. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content.

Storage Limits: Document storage is limited to 100MB per account. If you exceed this limit, you will need to remove existing documents before uploading new ones.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The BOOP name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of BOOP. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

BOOP is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months prior to any claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
